We are proud to partner with a leading mechanical contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager - with experience in the pharma sector. This exciting role involves managing and overseeing mechanical contracts within the pharmaceutical sector, valued between €30-40 million.

As part of the senior management team, you will take full responsibility for assigned contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and seamless project delivery. Additionally, you will play a key role in shaping the company's operational strategies and improving project workflows.

Key ResponsibilitiesContract Management
  • Oversee mechanical contracts ranging from €5-20 million, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Project Planning and Execution
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Ensure project milestones are consistently achieved.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, site managers, and subcontractors, to deliver outstanding results.
Budget Control
  • Maintain strict oversight of project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
Health, Safety, and Compliance
  • Promote a culture of safety, ensuring all projects comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Client Liaison
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing any project concerns.
Vendor and Subcontractor Management
  • Manage suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Risk and Quality Management
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring work meets the highest quality and compliance standards.
Reporting and Post-Completion
  • Deliver detailed progress reports and oversee final project handovers, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled.
Candidate ProfileExperience and Expertise
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical contracting, specifically in pharmaceutical or clean environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and piping.
Project and Team Management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-value projects, maintaining control over timelines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing diverse teams.
Communication and Relationship Building
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • A strong client-focused approach, building lasting professional relationships.
Problem Solving and Regulatory Knowledge
  • Practical and solution-driven approach to resolving project issues.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Ireland's health, safety, and industry regulations.
