As Contracts Manager:
- Take full ownership of projects, driving performance and developing comprehensive plans to ensure successful completion.
- Lead the project team, identifying potential risks and constraints, and taking appropriate actions to maintain a continuous workflow.
- Plan, organize, and oversee project activities to ensure optimal delivery and alignment with objectives.
- Regularly evaluate project progress, effectively managing client and design team expectations.
- Oversee the management of all resources, including workforce, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
- Collaborate closely with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and technical assessors to ensure the project is completed in line with the programme and contractual agreements.
- Ensure project activities comply with the company’s Quality System, Quality Procedures, and Engineering Specifications.
- Achieve agreed goals in terms of timely project delivery, cost management, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Uphold the highest standards of Health & Safety and Quality throughout the project.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, design teams, and office staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Contracts Manager role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale construction projects.
- A 3rd Level qualification in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- A strong track record of delivering construction projects within budget and to required specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of quality and safety management systems.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in IT, with the ability to generate detailed site reports.
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety standards and regulations on Irish construction sites.
- A full Irish driving licence is required.
