Community Home Care Nurse

An exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to provide safe, quality care to an adult within a home setting in Navan, County Meath.

The successful candidates will be part of a Nurse led care team and will report directly to the CNM.

Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse include:

• To ensure recognition of the person as an individual
• The prioritise the needs and comforts of the client and family
• Demonstrate kindness, compassion and patience
• General nursing care with ADL's
• Administrating medications
• Nursed on a Trilogy Ventilator via a Tracheostomy
• Requires PRN suctioning
• Peg Feed
• Provide excellent evidenced based nursing care and implement all aspects of the client's care plans based on the needs identified and review accordingly
• Maintain a high standard of infection control
• To safeguard the interest of the client at all times

• Excellent organisational and report writing skills
• Maintain a high standard of infection control for self and others

Qualifications & Experience:

• RGN on live register of NMBI
• Minimum one to two years' experience working as an ICU Registered Nurse is desired
• BLS is essential. Any additional training needs identified as being required will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift (10am - 8pm) in a Home Care Setting
• Monday to Sunday (70 hrs per week available)
