Community Employment Project vacancies to be filled with LONGFORD SPECIAL NEEDS CARERS CLG - Domestic Cleaner (2 vacancies)

Job Description:

• General up-keep of all units within St. Christopher's Services and units under the auspices of St. Christopher's Services including bathrooms/stairs/offices/canteen etc
• To comply with safety procedures when dealing with cleaning agents
• When needed to assist with canteen duties i.e. dinners/teas etc.
•  To use PPE provided for the job
• To comply with St. Christopher's Services and Community Employment Project Safety Statement and uphold safety procedures within the unit.

     Duration of post:-     1 year subject to 3 years.

     Hours per week:-     19.5 hours

    Eligibility Criteria:

• Eligibility to participate on Community Employment is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more. 
• Eligibility will have to be verified by the Department. 
• This is a developmental opportunity,     
• No experience necessary as accredited training will be provided to support the candidates career.
