Ergo is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect for a long-term contract role in Dublin. The successful Cloud Solutions Architect will be responsible for the design and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure which will support an online data-retrieval portal.

You should have previous experience designing solutions on AWS and Azure platforms plus 3rd Level qualification. Knowledge of data collection systems a real advantage.

This is a hybrid role with great day rates and long-term potential.

What will you do?
  • Design of mission-critical Infrastructure
  • Providing technical and strategic input in the design and implementation of data collections systems
  • Document the cloud infrastructure and the associated integrations with key systems;
  • Work as part of a major project to design and implement a new data collection platform;
  • Ensure the best practice IT Architecture principles are implemented;
  • Assist in the design and implementation of scalable, secure, robust online and mobile systems;
  • Identify and advise on new opportunities and technologies to improve and expand data collection platforms;
  • Assisting in the delivery of solution designs and architectures for key initiatives using Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and custom developed applications hosted in a variety of environments considering re-use, scalability and reliability.

You should have the following:
  • 5+ years of experience in an Architecture role
  • AWS certification desirable
  • 3rd Level Degree
  • Fluent English
  • No Visa restrictions (EU Passport or Stamp 4 required)

Experience in some / all of the following technologies:
  • Enterprise networking for LAN, WAN, WIFI, Cisco LAN and WAN technologies
  • Firewalling and Network security
  • Microsoft CRM (Dynamics 365) Experience
  • HP/Dell/EMC Server and Storage technologies
  • Azure/AWS Clouds
  • Managed Hosting Knowledge
  • SQL and NoSQL Databases (an advantage)
  • API Management Platforms (an advantage)
  • Microservices and DevOps application design (an advantage)
