Catering Assistants Lucan, Dublin

The School Food Company has been in operation since 2011 and provides healthy lunch options for both Primary and Secondary school students. Our menu is prepared fresh onsite every day.

We are currently recruiting for a part time catering position in St. Thomas's National School, Lucan, Dublin

This position operates around the primary school calendar. Our employees are off at the break periods: midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer(unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children. We do not operate set days of work so flexibility is essential. This position would be unsuitable for people in part time education

The position of part time catering assistant is approx 10-18 hours per week, operating on a 2 day / 3 day rotation.

Catering assistant shift time vary from approx 8.00/9.30am-2.30pm depending on the school requirements.

The role involves the preparation hot lunches, delivery of these to the classroom, and clean down.

Strong time management and organisational skills are a must as operating to strict break times.

Previous catering experience and knowledge of HACCP an advantage but not essential.
