Our client is an established Engineering and Safety Services company, specialising in delivering complex projects for companies in the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industry sectors. Established over 20 years ago and with offices in Ireland, The UK and Canada they have grown into an industry leading company managing a variety of bespoke and turnkey projects.

They are now looking to recruit a CAD Technician with responsibility for creating M&E design plans for buildings, utility drawings, machinery layout drawings and 3D Visualisations.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Production of 2D and 3D drawings from Design sketches, calculations and input
• Generating plans, elevations and isometric drawings from the design engineer’s input, having an appreciation of civil, mechanical, electrical and process type systems
• Generation of P&ID’s
• Support the Engineering Design Team
• Maintain and improve drawing office quality standards and documentation

 
Experience Requirements:

• Candidates should be qualified to a minimum FETAC Level 6 or City & Guilds CAD qualification 
• At least 5 years’ CAD experience in a similar role
• Previous experience of AutoCAD (Version 2018 preferable)
• Experience in the use of Revit, Sketchup and SolidWorks or similar would be advantageous
• Knowledge of M&E Services co-ordination is essential
• Knowledge and / or experience in BIM would be advantageous
