Job Title: Business Development Manager

SalesOptimize is an award winning data science company that specialises in market intelligence & lead generation for B2B companies. We are currently looking for a highly motivated sales consultant to join our expanding team. Unlike other companies, we generate most of your sales leads for you with our innovative technology that scans the Internet to find the perfect customers to use our services.

About the Role:

  • Use a customer-focused, consultative sales approach to educate customers on how our services can scale their company in the market
  • Expertly complete the end-to-end sales cycle, from cold calling to scheduling and facilitating online product and in-person demonstrations, to closing the sale
  • Using SalesOptimizes innovative technology to generate your own sales leads, thereby allowing you time to make outbound calls and win new customers
  • Hit monthly revenue targets as set by the CEO
  • 95% of your time will be spent on the phone, and 5% at tradeshows
  • Support the CEO to win major client accounts
  • Represent the company at tradeshows, both in Europe and USA
  • Independently manage a pipeline with multiple prospects, utilising our CRM (Salesforce) to document progress
  • Submit monthly forecasts and generate revenue to exceed targets

Candidate Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum B2B sales experience, preferably in software sales and selling into mid-market/corporate sectors
  • Strong phone, written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening and objection handling capabilities
  • A strong track record of being a top sales performers and consistently hitting sales targets
  • Quick learner, data-driven, highly inquisitive
  • Experience developing trusted relationships with senior executives
  • Ability to bring energy, enthusiasm and ambition to work with a strong desire for advancement
  • Demonstrated ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • Ethical and honest approach
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • A demonstrated commitment to teamwork, with a passion for Sales and a can-do attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Fluency in English is a must
