IT Business Analyst
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct in-depth business process analysis to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys
- Create detailed functional specifications for IT solutions, including use cases, process flows, and data models
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to support decision-making processes
- Develop and maintain project artifacts such as requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of business solutions
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Perform gap analysis between current and desired business processes
- Assist in the development and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of successful project deliveries
- Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques and methodologies (e.g., BABOK, Agile, Lean)
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Visio)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI)
- Familiarity with project management principles
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification is a plus
- Experience in the relevant industry sector is preferred
