We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant M&E  Manager to join our dynamic team at The the Fairways Hotel . You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Meeting & Events department, delivering unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the M&E Manager Manager in all aspects of daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory control.
  • Oversee rthe M&E Service service, ensuring adherence to food and beverage standards and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to menu development and maintain a high level of food quality control.
  • Assist with cost control measures and budget management.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within an M&E Dept or hotel setting.
  • Strong understanding of meeting and event operations, including food and beverage service.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
