Assistant General Manager

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant General Manager to join our team. Known for our creative six-course tasting menus that change every six weeks, Six by Nico offers a vibrant, ever-evolving dining experience.

About the Role:

As the Assistant General Manager , you’ll play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth service, creating a welcoming environment, and making sure the entire front-of-house team delivers a top-notch guest experience.

You’ll need to demonstrate strong leadership skills and have the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced setting. We’re looking for someone passionate about the Dublin food scene, with a natural ability to motivate others while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless coordination between front-of-house and kitchen staff.
- Lead, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Uphold Six by Nico’s high standards of customer service, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.
- Handle guest feedback, manage reservations, and ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Work with the General Manager to optimize performance, manage budgets, and drive operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure.
- Leadership experience with the ability to train and motivate a team.
- A genuine passion for food, drink, and hospitality, with knowledge of the Dublin dining scene a plus.
