Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience with AI/ML native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience with the app development lifecycle.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Science, or other advanced degree.
  • Experience with building generative AI, machine learning (ML) solutions, machine learning operations frameworks like Kubeflow, and leveraging specific machine learning architectures (e.g., large language model, deep learning, LSTM, convolutional networks, etc.).
  • Experience in understanding a complex customer’s existing software workloads and the ability to define a technical migration roadmap to the cloud reflecting specific customer needs.
  • Experience in building and deploying data and ML pipelines with a focus on automation.
  • Familiarity with machine learning programming frameworks such as LangChain, PyTorch, HuggingFace, and TensorFlow.

As an App Development Customer Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving business growth by guiding EMEA partners to launch new applications and enhance existing ones using AI/ML technologies. Your role will involve developing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with partners, directly tying technical milestones to business generation goals.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize EMEA partners with high potential for launching new applications or building new functionality, leveraging AI/ML solutions.
  • Collaborate with AdMob mediation partners to develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that incorporate specific technical milestones, aligning technical efforts and creating a path to business growth.
  • Achieve and surpass quarterly goals (ARR) by providing strategic technical guidance to partners throughout the app development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with Firebase and UX consultants in the team and serve as a subject matter expert on AI/ML in App Development. Build close relationships with internal stakeholders including Google Cloud Engineering and Sales teams.
  • Develop technical resources, including code samples, integration guides, and best practice documents, to empower partners to leverage Google's app development solutions effectively.
