The Role

The Accounts Payable Analyst is a key member of the Accounts Payable and the overall Finance team. The role will be responsible for the end-to-end processes within Accounts Payable, providing an opportunity for a fully rounded experience and ownership of all Accounts Payable processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong set of financial controls and procedures.
  • -
  • Process all invoices within a timely manner using the company's purchase to pay system.
  • -
  • Process and manage expense claims, credit cards and petty cash.
  • -
  • Process intercompany invoices.
  • -
  • Analysis of positive balances on aged creditor reports for review with the Accounts Payable Manager monthly.
  • -
  • Processing payment runs.
  • -
  • Investigate and resolve rejected payments.
  • -
  • Preparation of vendor account reconciliations and resolve any differences.
  • -
  • Liaising with other internal departments and external suppliers to resolve queries.
  • -
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintenance of the supplier master data.
  • -
  • Daily bank reconciliations.
  • -
  • Assist with ad hoc finance projects.
  • -
  • Assist with the annual audit.
  • -
  • Support months end close activities (accruals and reconciliations).
  • -
  • Support wider Finance team with additional accounts administration on ad-hoc basis.
  • -
  • Demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements

  • -
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role with specific experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a large global company.
  • -
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight monthly deadlines.
  • -
  • Excellent attention to detail is required with the ability to follow through and complete all tasks in a professional and efficient manner.
  • -
  • Fluent English speaker and excellent communication.
  • -
  • Strong diplomatic and relationship building skills.
  • -
  • Proficiency in IT including strong MS Office and with Accounts software (F&O helpful).
  • -
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • -
  • Ability to deal with multiple jurisdictions.
