Enet is Ireland’s largest, open access network provider, building and operating the largest alternative wholesale telecoms network in Ireland.

As the International Account Manager at Enet, you will sell Ireland-based services to international clients, requiring regular monthly travel to the UK and/or Continental Europe. This role offers a unique chance to play a pivotal role in one of Ireland's most dynamic technology success stories. We’re looking for someone with the dedication, expertise, and proven sales background to elevate enet’s revenue to new heights. Exceptional growth performance will be generously rewarded.

We are open to candidates being based in the UK on a self-employed basis or joining us as a full-time employee based in Ireland. We operate a hybrid working model, with 2 days per week in our Limerick office (Tuesday and Wednesday). This role reports directly to the Sales Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of enet's services and unique benefits.
  • Clearly communicate and position enet's offerings to align with client needs, highlighting their advantages.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships, supported by regular travel to client locations.
  • Strategically plan and execute a comprehensive sales program.
  • Drive substantial growth across the existing client base.
  • Secure the renewal of existing client contracts.
  • Identify new carrier opportunities; engage with prospective clients, present solutions, and finalize agreements for new revenue streams.
  • Maintain a pipeline of renewal, growth, and new client opportunities using enet’s sales automation platform.
  • Ensure all sales orders meet financial and sales management standards. 
  • Collaborate with the implementation and account development teams as needed to support customer success and identify up-sell opportunities.

 

Key Skills / Qualifications:

  • Over 6 years of experience in outside sales, ideally selling telecom, network, or ICT solutions to large corporate clients.
  • Strong knowledge of telecom services (preferably Ethernet, wireless, and dark fiber).
  • Background in wholesale telecommunications is beneficial.
  • Experience in wholesale voice and broadband services is a plus.
  • Proven sales record with senior-level clients in both small and large organisations.
  • Consistent achievement in a fast-paced, results-driven sales environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with strong persuasive abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Active listener, adept at understanding and adapting to diverse client needs.
  • Professional, motivated, and enthusiastic, with a strong sense of business, market, and commercial awareness.
  • Adaptable and flexible, thriving in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Team-oriented, able to collaborate effectively across the organisation while maintaining a high degree of autonomy.
